We've all heard about that book that claims to get rid of your acne in three days, right?

But what is the catch? Well first of all there is the price issue, but then some of us also do not want to go on an apple fast for 3 days and give ourselves enemas! So what else can we do to get rid of that annoying problem that effects 90% of the population of America? Here I am going to show how to get rid of your acne, or at least significantly reduce it, for free!

Ok, lets get started, there are three basic steps to permanently getting rid of your acne.

1. Water, lots and lots of water!! Water is a pure liquid that cleanses your body and gets rid of the toxins that are causing your body to produce those annoying pimples.

I myself drink over a gallon of water every day, and I suggest that you work your way up to that much yourself, it will be difficult at first for you to get used to drinking so much, but after a while it will just be something you find yourself doing!

Even after a only a week of drinking a sufficient amount of water you will notice vast improvements in your skin complexion and your general heath.

Most Americans are dehydrated, but not severely enough to cause alarm, there are so many problems that could be fixed simply by getting sufficient amounts of water to drink! Yet the average American doesn't even get half of they're daily water requirements.

A few simple ways to tell if you are even mildly dehydrated are as follows:

1. Is your urine yellow? If it is then you are dehydrated, unless you are taking a vitamin B supplement your urine should be almost clear if you are getting sufficient liquids in your body.

2. Pinch a small spot on your knuckles for about 3 seconds, does the spot stay how it was pinched or immediately go back to normal? If it stays then you are dehydrated.

3. An obvious one, are your lips dry? That means dehydration!

Now you might be thinking "why is being well hydrated so important?"

Well
when the body is dehydrated, it looks for moisture from wherever it can find it -- including the eyes and skin. And when the moisture is drawn out from your skin it causes it to become dry and flaky,  then, the serum your body naturally makes, gets mixed with those dry skin cells and become a paste that blocks your pores and results in ugly pimples.

Also a short list of other problems caused by dehydration are as follows:

HOW DOES DEHYDRATION AFFECT MY PERFORMANCE?
-Physiologically:

-remember that water accounts for 73 % of lean body mass.

-increases body core temperature during physical activity which may result in an inability to sweat properly, thus not allowing the body to get rid of the
increased heat generated through physical activity.

-increased cardiovascular strain resulting in an increased heart rate, less blood pumped from the heart, and increased resistance within the arteries and veins, making it more difficult for the blood to flow smoothly.

-the cardiovascular changes are directly proportional to the level of dehydration.

-heart rate increases by 3-5 beats per minute for every 1 % of body weight loss.

-glycogen is used more quickly, elevated muscle temperatures, and increased lactate level due to a poor blood flow

-Performance:
-muscle strength is affected when dehydration levels reach 5 % or greater

-maximum aerobic performance decreases with as little as 3 % dehydration levels.

-as dehydration levels increase, work capacity can decrease as much as 35 – 45 %.

-significant performance deficits, while performing in the heat, have been recorded with a dehydration level as little as 2.5 % of body weight

Ok moving on,

2.Washing your face the right way!

When you wash your face too much or use very drying soaps, it will have two affects,
1. It will affect your skin much the same way as dehydration does making it dry, itchy and flaky.

2. Then because your skin is so dry, your body will start trying to compensate for the loss of moisture by producing more serum, which will then mix with the dead dry skin cells and create more zits resulting in a face worst than when you started!!

Therefore it is very important not to wash the face overly much, but that is not to say that one should never wash ones face! Once or twice a day with soap should be plenty.

And finally,

3.Hot water.

Yup more water, but this time it's for ON you, and not IN you. Ok, so let me start by explaining, when something heated is touched to your body, it causes blood to rush to that place, and when white blood cells get there, they get to work on fixing the problems.

So, something that I have found to be enormously successful in helping to not only clear up existing acne, but to also help heal acne scars, is this simple daily regime:
When you see a pimple about to pop its nasty head up, or there is some other blemish on your face, simply take a wet, hot/warm washcloth and hold it on the affected area for about 5 minutes (if the washcloth cools off just run more hot water on it.) be careful that it is not too hot! You are not trying to burn yourself here!

Just make it as hot as you can comfortably handle it. Repeat once an hour for a day or two, usually a few hours is all it takes to get rid of a fresh zit, but for the scars, they will not heal for a long time, the how water will only help speed things up. Every night before bed it is helpful to   rub vitamin E on your acne scars to make them heal up to 10 times faster!

Alright then, I have tried to keep things as simple as possible, I hope that using these techniques you will soon be acne free!!
